Art teacher

Responsibilities:

Job Descriptions：
 Responsible for teaching Arts and shows written evidence of preparation upon request of supervisor(s)
 Implements and prepares lesson plans aligned with curriculum maps for grade level/subject area and includes activities for differentiated instruction to meet varied learning styles, abilities, and needs of students in a culturally sensitive environment
 Responsible for organizing educational trips and visits.
 Assist with department plans and systems that deliver quality education efficiently
 Prepares, administers and corrects evaluations and assessments, and records results;
 Responsible for classroom management, encouraging, and supporting the use of ICT in lessons
 Confers with parents and students regarding progress/problems of assigned students; arranges and participates in teacher-parent or teacher-student conferences as necessary;
 Attends and actively participates in staff/faculty meetings and provides input regarding the planning of instruction goals, objectives and methods.
 Selects and uses appropriate instructional strategies including, but not limited to, lectures, group discussions, demonstrations, modeling and multimedia teaching aids to present subject matter to students;
 Creates a classroom environment that provides for student involvement in the learning process and enables each student to achieve learning objectives
 Prepares an updated class list when requested.
 Plans at least one extra-curricular activity for students. Promotes cross-cultural understanding among students
 Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Essential Requirements：
 Teachers with excellent verbal and written English language skills.
 Bachelor’s degree of Art and Design/ Fine Art / Arts related subjects
 At least two years of teaching experience in related subject
 Teacher Certification/ Qualification
 Previous experience of teaching with an ESL, or start-up environment will be advantageous
 Ability to infuse technology into curriculum
 An effective teaching practitioner with evidence of good classroom practice
 Strong working knowledge of an international curriculum
 A clear focus on standards to raise achievement
 Committed to protecting and safeguarding children
 Maintains energy, enthusiasm, teamwork, and a sense of humor
