SWUFE-UD Institute of Data Science at SWUFE
(License No. MOE51USA02DNR20191972N), approved by the Chinese Ministry of
Education, is jointly established by Southwestern University of Finance and
Economics and the University of Delaware. It is located in Chengdu, China.
Three undergraduate programs are offered in the joint institute: Information
Management and Information System, Financial Mathematics, and Logistics
Management, and we enrolled the first cohort of students in fall, 2020. The
institute aims to become internationalized innovation demonstration zone of the
construction of first-class disciplines and undergraduate programs.

Responsibilities:

Candidate is supposed to teach one or
several of the following subjects:

1) English Academic Writing

2) English Literature and
Composition

3) English Intensive Reading

4) English Linguistics

Qualifications:

Applicants are invited
from those with teaching interests in English, and will devote himself/herself
to inspiring and motivating students as well as responding professionally and
supportively to their written work and oral presentation by providing courses
and guidance for undergraduate students regarding academic writing,
professional writing, intensive reading, and/or English literature. In terms of
English teaching, the post holder will be expected to make a significant
teaching contribution.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree and
above in a related discipline, having demonstrable experience of high-quality
teaching with the ability to carry out on-campus teaching, as well as English
learning supervision, along with excellent oral and written communication
skills. Native English speaker with a Master’s degree in English,
Cross-cultural communication, Linguistics, TESOL / TEFL and other related area
will be preferred.
