Our highly trained team is familiar with all the latest industry technology as well as our own custom software, created to specifically fit the needs of e-commerce sellers.
As the Business Development Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our revenue growth. Reporting directly to the Founder & CEO, you’ll engage with both inbound and outbound leads, focusing on importers with significant China spends. You will work closely with the Account Manager to ensure new clients have an exceptional onboarding experience all while looking for ways to deepen the relationship by understanding and meeting their evolving needs.

Prospecting & Closing
1. Primary Focus on Inbound: Work closely with Marketing to handle and nurture incoming leads, guiding them from initial inquiry to contract signing.
2. Supplementary Outbound Efforts: Supplementary Outbound Efforts: Between inbound follow-ups, tap into trade shows, online platforms, and networking events to find fresh opportunities.
3. Sales Funnel Management: Keep deals moving smoothly at every stage, ensuring a stellar experience for potential clients.
Client Onboarding & Relationship Expansion
1. Closing the Deal: Collaborate closely with the Account Manager to ensure a seamless transition from initiation of a new sourcing relationship to "closing the deal".
2. Champion Client Success: Act as the client’s advocate internally, aligning our processes with the client’s needs and troubleshooting any early-stage concerns.
3. Growth & Expansion: Identify and explore opportunities to provide additional services or product lines that align with the client’s evolving needs and strategic objectives.
Collaboration & Process Improvement
1. Feedback Loop: Work with Marketing to share insights about client profiles so they can funnel more targeted leads to you.
2. Innovate & Automate: We love technology! Explore AI-driven and automated tools to keep your pipeline humming and administrative work minimal.
3. Continuous Improvement: Bring client feedback and new ideas to the table—our processes are always evolving, and we value every suggestion.
Market & Strategic Input
1. Stay Ahead: Keep an eye on market trends, competitor moves, and big opportunities (like Robotics or other emerging verticals).
2. Reporting & Forecasts: Provide the CEO with accurate revenue forecasts and strategic insights to guide business direction.
3. Elevate Our Presence: Propose fresh initiatives or tactics to boost IMEX’s reputation and market reach.
Reporting & Documentation
Keep your CRM up-to-date and organized, giving the team real-time visibility into leads, pipelines, and sales progress.

Qualifications:
1. Native-Level English: You’ll be communicating with international clients daily.
2. Professional Experience: 3+ years in B2B Sales, Business Development, or Account Management, with a proven history of hitting or surpassing targets.
3. China-Based: You’re already located in China and open to travel when needed.
4. Industry Know-How: Supply chain or cross-border trade experience is a bonus, especially if you’ve got a solid network in consumer electronics.
5. Communication Pro: You’re skilled at building genuine connections and making persuasive presentations.
6. Tech Enthusiast: We love AI and automation—if you’re excited to experiment with CRMs, digital tools, and new tech solutions, you’ll feel right at home.
