Tangshan People's Hospital was founded in 1943 and is the earliest public hospital in Tangshan City. In the 1960s and 1970s, the hospital's orthopedics, traditional Chinese medicine, and tuberculosis prevention departments were established and separated, and the Municipal Orthopedics Hospital, Municipal Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, Municipal Infectious Disease Hospital, and Municipal Third Hospital were successively established.
