Electric Bicycle Registration Procedures

I. Eligibility for Application

1. The owner of the electric bicycle must reside within the jurisdiction of Tianjin.
2. The bicycle must comply with national standards and have a valid CCC certification.
3. The submitted documents and information must meet the specified requirements and be legally valid.
4. The bicycle must have undergone inspection.

II. Appointment Websites
1. Electric Bicycle Purchase, Registration, and Licensing Service Centers (December 20, 2023) - Details can be found in Attachment 1.
To simplify the registration process for electric bicycle owners, public security agencies have selected 100 electric bicycle retailers in the city as service centers, providing one-stop services for electric bicycle purchase, registration and licensing.
2. Police Window Locations (Attachment 2)
Applicants should make an appointment on the "Tianjin Online Government Service Hall" to register an electric bicycle at the non-motor vehicle registration points.

III. Required Documents
1. Identification of the electric bicycle owner.
2. Electric bicycle product certificate.
3. Proof of legal origin, such as purchase invoices, stamped receipts, etc.

IV. Application Process
1) Make an appointment on the "Tianjin Online Government Service Hall."
2) Case acceptance and examination.
3) Bicycle inspection.
4) If the requirements are met, relevant information will be entered into the database and stored.
5) Issuance of license plates and driving license.

V. Important Matters to be Aware of
1. Processing Period: The process will be completed within 1 working day from the date of acceptance.
2. Fee: Free of charge.
