Didi rolls out pet-friendly ride service

Didi Chuxing, a leading car-hailing service provider in China, has launched pet-friendly rides which allow passengers to travel with their furry companions. The service was first unveiled across 49 major cities in August, and more recently has been promoted across the entire country. To use the service, pet owners need only to open the Didi Chuxing app, and find "宠物出行 (Travel with a pet)".

If you don't find the pet icon on the homepage, click "更多服务 (More services)". You also need to choose basic information about your pet, including its type and size.
Then enter the destination and select the type of vehicle you want to take before hailing a ride.
There are two types of vehicles available—Didi Express, which offers more affordable services, and Didi Premier, which is operated by high-end vehicles.
