On the eve of the National Day holiday, Chengdu Rongcheng FC will make its home debut in the group stage of the AFC Champions League Elite (ACL Elite) with a match against Gangwon FC, a strong opponent from the K League of the Republic of Korea. For Chengdu Rongcheng FC, embarking on its first journey to ACL Elite, a home match presents a perfect opportunity to earn points.

Rowing Regatta

Date: October 1 to 2

Location: Xinjin Section of the Nanhe River

The rowing race between Cambridge and Oxford, a nearly 200-year-old tradition on London’s River Thames, comes to the Nanhe River in Xinjin District. University rowing teams from numerous international and domestic universities, including Harvard University, the University of Sydney, Peking University, and Tsinghua University, will compete in this exciting regatta.

Sports and Life Carnival Finals

Date: September 27 to 28

Location: Dong’an Lake Sports Park and Tianfu Agricultural Expo Park

The event will be simultaneously held in Longquanyi and Xinjin. The China Urban Discovery Challenge and China Urban Outdoor Multisport Competition are upgraded again with new routes covering 500 kilometers across seven districts in Chengdu. With new routes, Chengdu’s development will be clearly demonstrated.

Location: Tianfu Orange Town, Sanxi Township, Jintang County; Sichuan Southwest Vocational College of Civil Aviation
