New Bus Line to Tianfu Airport Launched

The bus line, with a total length of 62 kilometers and two transit points along its course on Haichang Road and 3rd Tianfu Street, departs from Tianfu International Airports and runs along the Tianfu Jichang Expressway, the branch line of Tianfu Jichang Expressway, Hangzhou Road and Tianfu Avenue before reaching the Global Center. The rate of the transportation is RMB25/person and the complete journey takes about 80 minutes, running from 23:30 to 05:15 the following morning. The operation of the new bus line will make up for the hours without subway service during a day to meet the needs of passengers arriving at Tianfu International Airport for convenient traffic at any time.

Tickets for the bus service can be purchased on-the-spot at six windows at T1 and T2 at Tianfu International Airport, Chunxi Road, Jinsha Bus Station, Chengdu Zoo Bus Station and East Chengdu Railway Station. People can also buy tickets via the App of Chengdu Public Transport, the WeChat App and Alipay of Chengdu Public Transport (Chinese and English versions available). 

Bus Line 6 operates with brand-new 8.2-meter-long electric buses with a capacity of 30 passengers. Facilities such as the USB charging port are available on the bus to provide convenience to passengers. The operation of the new bus line complements the existing five bus lines to expand the coverage of transportation network connecting Tianfu International Airport to urban Chengdu.
