Beijing's recent muggy and rainy days have raised public concerns, with many netizens complaining that they feel as if they're in a sauna, sticky and uncomfortable.
Health Tips
The increased humidity may make you feel stuffy. The meteorological authority warns that heat stroke is highly likely in highly humid and stuffy conditions.
If you experience symptoms like dizziness, headache, fatigue, thirst, sweating, palpitations, flushed skin, or elevated body temperature, seek help promptly, since these can be signs of heat stroke, and move to a cool, ventilated place to rest. Don't forget to replenish water and electrolytes. If symptoms worsen or are not resolved, seek medical treatment immediately.
