【City Characteristics】Bahia Asia is located in the northeast of Brazil, with the capital city of El Salvador, the third largest city in Brazil. Bahia, based on agriculture, is a big agricultural state in Brazil. Traditional industries include clothing, shoemaking and brewing. This state is the most economically developed state among the northeastern states of Brazil, and the port of El Salvador under its jurisdiction is the second largest port exporting fruit with the largest container throughput in northern Brazil.
