Amadeus @ Shanghai Oriental Art Center

The Vakhtangov Theatre of Russia presents Amadeus at the SHOAC Opera Hall.
Directed by Anatoly Shulyev, the production tells of Salieri, who renounces his pact with God and destroys Mozart as revenge for God bestowing genius upon his rival.
Starring Aleksei Guskov and Victor Dobronravov as Salieri and Mozart, their confrontation is hailed as "a clash of ice and fire."
Weaving Mozart's music, letters, and historical fact into the drama, this is a celebrated recent work from the century-old Vakhtangov Theatre.
