Baiyun Mountain's cypress trees don Maillard style winter look

In winter, the Baiyun Mountain Scenic Spot in Guangzhou becomes a picturesque canvas of nature. The bald cypress trees, turning from green to gold and brown, create a vibrant multicolored forest against the backdrop of lakes and mountains. Each step along the mountain's trails, whether by the creek, boardwalk, or bridge, offers a view as beautiful as a painting.

In 2024, Baiyun Mountain continued its commitment to enhancing its natural beauty. Over 1,200 bald cypress trees were planted last year, along with more than 600 pond cypress and dawn redwoods, enriching the landscape and ensuring the mountain's colorful charm year-round.
