Want to trace 4.6 billion years of Earth's history in one place?
The Shenzhen Natural History Museum in Pingshan District will kick off trial operations on June 30 and will officially open to the public on July 28.
Covering 105,300 square meters, the museum stands as the largest comprehensive natural history venue in South China. It features eight themed exhibition halls linking the grand cosmic landscape with Shenzhen's local mountains and seas, offering visitors an immersive journey through the 4.6-billion-year history of Earth.

The rare wild animal specimens donated by American philanthropist Kenneth E. Behring, which were hugely popular at the Shenzhen Museum, will also be relocated to this new venue.
Visitors may take Metro Line 16 to Shaba Station (沙壆站) and exit via Exit D, or ride the Shenzhen SkyShuttle (深圳云巴) directly to the Natural History Museum West Station (自然博物馆西站).
