Approved by the Guangzhou Municipal Education Bureau, GDUFS International School, Guangzhou (GIS) is a new type of non-profit school with a 12-year curriculum founded under the guidance of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS) in the context of the “Dual Zone” effect of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Shenzhen Pilot Demonstration Zone of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics.

The school is located at No. 599, Guanghua Yilu Road, Baiyun District, Guangzhou, sharing its campus with Guangzhou Experimental Foreign Language School (the former English School Attached to Guangdong University of Foreign Studies).

Covering an area of around 54 acres, it is the largest primary and secondary school campus among the 8 major old districts of Guangzhou. There are complete living and learning facilities, including campus clinic, gymnasium, swimming pool, volleyball court and so on.
