The Paris Olympics have come to an end, but if you haven't seen enough sporting events and are craving more, you might want to keep an eye on two upcoming basketball competitions in Hangzhou: the 2024 FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series Final and the 2024 Qianjiang Century City International Basketball Summit. The 2024 FIBA 3x3 Women's Series Final is FIBA's highest-level event. This final will take place on September 7th and 8th in the Xiaoshan District of Hangzhou.

The tournament will feature the top seven teams from the Women's Series regular season, along with the host nation, China. These teams will compete head-to-head for the championship title.

The strongest team in the tournament is undoubtedly Canada, the back-to-back defending champion, who clinched the title at the inaugural event in Springfield.

Another event, the 2024 Qianjiang Century City International Basketball Summit, will be held from August 31st to September 2nd at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center. Four basketball clubs from China and Spain will come together to showcase their skills, passion, and sportsmanship on the court, delivering exciting matchups for the audience.

The four basketball clubs participating in the competition are FC Barcelona Basketball and Girona Basketball from Spain, Zhejiang Guangsha and Beijing Shougang Basketball from China.
One of the biggest highlights of the tournament is the participation of European basketball powerhouse, FC Barcelona. Barcelona is not only a football legend but also renowned for its basketball team. Additionally, senior officials from the Spanish Embassy in China will also be visiting, and the President of Basketball Europe, along with the Secretary General of Basketball Asia, will attend the tournament as honored guests.
