This spring, Chengdu will see the opening of the first Radisson Collection hotel in southwestern China—Radisson Collection Hotel, Chengdu Hi-tech Zone. The hotel will be situated in the Center for China-Europe Cooperation, one of the landmark buildings in Chengdu.
Radisson Collection traces its origins to Europe. Its first store, Radisson Collection Royal Hotel, Copenhagen, was among the first design hotels in the world. According to the latest data, Radisson Collection now operates 43 hotels around the world. The brand aims to provide guests with a curated selection of iconic hotels, each uniquely located and deeply rooted in local culture.
As the first Radisson Collection hotel in southwestern China, Radisson Collection Hotel, Chengdu Hi-tech Zone offers 178 boutique guest rooms and suites, professional conference and banquet facilities, a variety of Chinese and Western restaurants, a heated swimming pool, a special sky lounge, and other amenities.
In addition to a wide range of international services, such as multilingual services, foreign currency exchange, and foreign-related conference support, Radisson Collection Hotel, Chengdu Hi-tech Zone provides “City Exploration Ambassadors”, “Chinese and Global Culture Experience”, “Global Food Season”, and other special services. They are designed to foster a constantly active “micro hub for international exchanges”.
An official of Radisson Collection Hotel, Chengdu Hi-tech Zone shared, “Prior to the official opening, we will hold a China-Europe joint art exhibition and an international symphony concert in advance to provide opportunities for in-depth dialogue across cultures. Besides subsequent international art events, we will continue to introduce the ‘City Discovery Program’ based on urban resources to give international friends and visitors a firsthand experience of Chengdu’s international service competency and urban soft power. These efforts aim to contribute to positioning the hotel as a new benchmark for foreign-related services and a new platform for international exchanges in Chengdu.”
