Shuanglongtan Ecological Sports Scenic Area

The Shuanglongtan Ecological Sports Scenic Area is located at the eastern foot of Tianzhu Mountain National Forest Park, at the northwest end of Guanjiu Town, Jiemei District, Xiamen City. The main scenic area covers an area of 55 hectares. The scenic area is a comprehensive experience-type tourist scenic spot that integrates fitness and leisure with ecological resort. It is the first mountain leisure tourism park with themes of ecological sports expansion and vehicle competitive sports. Over the years, it has been successively selected as "My Favorite Ten Outstanding Tourist Attractions in Xiamen", "My Favorite Ten Outstanding Farmhouses in Xiamen", "The Most Popular Tourist Scenic Area in the Outskirts of Xiamen Island", and "Best Self-Drive Tourism Base". In 2017, it was awarded by the "Tourism +" Quality Evaluation Committee of Fujian Province as "Fujian Province Sports Tourism and Leisure Demonstration Base". In 2018, it was rated as a National 3A-level Scenic Area. In 2019, it was rated as a Xiamen City Primary and Secondary School Students' Research and Practice Education Base. In 2021, it was rated as a Xiamen City Primary and Secondary School Students' Labor Education Base. 

The Shuanglongtan Scenic Area is mainly divided into three parts: the natural landscape area, the ecological sports area, and the recreational and amusement area. The natural landscape area: With the mountain climbing and sightseeing greenway as the main line, along the way there are the largest South Asian Magnolia couple tree in Fujian Province, the fragrant cypress garden, the white heron habitat park, as well as元宝 stone， the peony spring， and the dragon潭 waterfall， all of which are original ecological natural attractions. The ecological sports area： Based on the concepts of ecological sports and low-carbon health preservation， along the winding and undulating mountains， there are the largest slope green grassland bungee jumping area in the country and the largest hillside green space climbing, aerial cableway, tube slide， target archery， etc. as sports venues. The recreational and amusement area： Focusing on leisure vacation and happy outdoor activities， there are outdoor camping areas for hikers， children's amusement parks， green ecological restaurants， wild fun barbecue areas， outdoor tea houses， and tourist service centers for tourists' rest and relaxation.
