【Established Date】The friendly exchange and cooperation relations between Tianjin and Kiev were officially established on April 6, 1993.
【City Characteristics】 Kiev is the capital city, and also the economic, cultural and political center of Ukraine. It is located in the north-central part of the country on both sides of the Dnieper River, and is adjoined by the Desna River and the Pripyat River, the biggest tributary of the Dnieper River. Kiev is a hub of water, land and air transportation. As one of the important industrial centers of the former Soviet Union, with there are factories all over the city, especially in the west of the downtown area and the left bank of the Dnieper River.
