More Domestic and International Routes Opened at Beijing Daxing Airport

New domestic and international routes have been launched or will be opened at the airport. China Eastern Airlines plans to add new domestic routes from Daxing Airport to Changbaishan, Xiamen, Boao, and Changchun and increase the number of flights to destinations including Harbin, Yinchuan and Kunming, with new international routes from Daxing Airport to Phu Quoc Island and other overseas destinations such as Osaka, Hanoi, and Moscow. Notably, China Eastern Airlines' flights to Osaka, Bangkok and Singapore are now operated by wide-body aircraft. Nearly 70 international routes are now operating at Daxing Airport, connecting 42 cities in 26 countries and regions, which include popular tourist destinations such as London, Osaka, Jeju Island, Bangkok, Malé and Singapore. The airport also has routes to Hong Kong SAR and Macao SARs in China.

Daxing Airport is gearing up for the bustling Spring Festival travel season with festive decorations featuring traditional elements of the Chinese New Year throughout its key passenger areas. The airport has launched limited-edition New Year-themed stamps, allowing travelers to imprint them on red envelopes or postcards. On January 15, the 2025 Spring Festival Market, the airport's signature themed commercial event, will officially open. Passengers can participate in cultural activities such as hanging blessing plaques and collecting stamps. Additionally, a special Lantern Festival-themed concert is scheduled to entertain passengers later.  
In a move to enhance its services for foreign passengers, Daxing Airport recently introduced an airport service counter named "Beijing Service" at its international arrivals area on the first floor, providing passengers with a wide range of services, including payment, communication, cultural tourism, and transportation. The airport now houses over 300 commercial outlets that accept payments with foreign bank cards, with 41 shops operating in the international areas to meet the diverse needs of foreign passengers.
