Jiahe Liangku Warehouse Cultural Tourism Area is a national 2A-level tourist attraction. It was transformed from the Wenzao Warehouse Area of Xiamen Grain Depot in 1956 and was developed and operated by Xiamen Shengbo Haiyi Cultural Communication Co., Ltd. The project started in late 2017 and underwent 11 months of renovation and construction before being inspected and put into use. It opened to the public in September 2019. It is a cultural and creative park project introduced through investment promotion in Xiamen, covering an area of 22,896 square meters and having a usable area of over 30,000 square meters. There are 8 original buildings, all of which were constructed at different times as Xiamen Grain Warehouses.
The scenic area uses spaces with unique characteristics of Xiamen's regional culture as its carrier. On the basis of preserving the original features of the grain silos, it creates a grain culture-themed scenic area. In the landscape, it incorporates the history of grain culture, forming a micro exhibition hall for agriculture, a micro exhibition hall for southern Chinese daily life, and a micro exhibition hall for the knowledge of grains. It also collaborates with the scenic area enterprise Optic Vision to create an eye care science popularization base, providing a practical base and science popularization knowledge for minors. The scenic area focuses on cultivating four business models: creative industry, cultural exposition, urban tourism, and fashionable leisure. Since its opening, it has received a total of 156 visiting groups from all levels and various provinces and cities, held 83 various activities, and conducted 29 lectures at the Jiahe Lecture Hall. It has enhanced the city's cultural atmosphere, enriched citizens' cultural and entertainment life, and received praise from all sectors of society.
