Governor of West Flanders, Belgium vows to promots China even after retirement

An old friend of Hangzhou, Governor Carl Decaluwe of Belgium's West Flanders (a sister province of Zhejiang), is set to retire this years but vows to continue his role as a bridge-builder. His heartfelf promise came at the opening of Belgian Contemporary Art Exhibition at Hangzhou Winland Center. Using art as a form of "silent diplomacy," he celebrates 55 years of China-Belgium ties and deepens people-to-people bonds.
