According to the staff there, most wintersweet trees in Beijing bloom in early spring, with February being the peak period. However, recently due to the
continuous rise in temperature after a cold wave, wintersweet trees have mistakenly believed that early spring has arrived,
resulting in a large number of early blooms. Besides wintersweet, other spring flowering plants such as Chinese wild peach and winter jasmine are also budding in this slightly warm early winter.
