Chengdu to Resume and Expand International Routes

Starting this month, Chengdu will resume and increase the frequency of multiple international air routes.

Starting December 7, 2025

Sichuan Airlines will resume its direct flights from Chengdu Tianfu International Airport to Auckland, New Zealand, operating two weekly flights with A350 aircraft.

Starting December 19, 2025

Spring Airlines will resume its direct flights from Chengdu Tianfu International Airport to Phuket, Thailand, operating four weekly flights.

Starting December 20, 2025

Spring Airlines will resume its direct flights from Chengdu Tianfu International Airport to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, operating three weekly flights.

Starting January 9, 2026

Malaysia Airlines will launch direct flights from Chengdu Tianfu International Airport to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, operating one daily flight. With this addition, the frequency of flights from Chengdu to Kuala Lumpur will increase to five daily flights.
