Scenic Spots Cut Prices in the Off-season

of Giant Panda Breeding

Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding (excluding Dujiangyan Panda Valley) has shifted to the winter season schedule for the period from November 1, 2024 to February 28, 2025.
The Panda Valley, a subsidiary of the Panda Base to get the captive pandas ready to return to the wild, located in Dujiangyan City in northern Chengdu, has adopted the winter season schedule, from November 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025, with the opening hours from 08:00 to 17:30.  Admission stops at 16:30.

The winter season schedule of the scenic spot will last from October 8 to March 31 next year.
Day-time mountain tours

Duration: October 8, 2024—March 31, 2025

Opening hours: 08:00-17:30

Admission: RMB80/person, free for children under 1.2 meters or under the age of six (inquiry hotline: 0833-2355557)

Day-time cruise ship tours

Duration: October 8, 2024—March 31, 2025

Service hours: 08:00-17:00 (continual ship departures)

Admission: RMB70/person. Children under 1.2 meters must go to windows at the spot to get a free ticket

Notes: the departure time of the ships may have adjustments according to changes of water levels or weather conditions.

Night-time cruise ship tours

Duration: October 8, 2024—March 31, 2025

Service hours: first ship 19:30; second ship 20:30

Touring route: Wuyou Temple Dock—Grand Buddha—Wuyou Temple Dock

Ticket: RMB138/person (Children under the age of one must get a ticket for free admission; admission for children under 1.2 meters is RMB69/person)

Notes: contact the inquiries at the scenic spot (0833-2355557) in advance as the ships may be canceled because of water levels.

Mount Emei

Duration: December 15, 2024—January 15, 2025

Admission: RMB110/person for adults; RMB55/person for discount tickets (fares for visits to temple, cable cars, insurance, sightseeing bus are not included)

Cable car to Wannian: RMB30/person for upward transportation; RMB20/person for downward transportation

Cable car to Golden Summit: RMB30/person for upward transportation; RMB20/person for downward transportation 

Service of sightseeing buses: the schedule is conducted during the period between November 1, 2024 and March 31, 2025.Going-up bus at Baoguo Temple and Huangwan Station, 07:00-16:00; going-up bus at Wannian Temple, Wuxiangang and Linggongli, 07:00-16:00, returning bus at 17:30; going-down bus at Leidongping, 09:00-17:30 (may stop at 16:30 when weather condition goes bad)

Wawu Mountains

Duration: September 1-November 30, 2024 (except for the National Day holidays)

Admission: RMB60/person (the rate for peak season is RMB100/person)

Siguniang Scenic Spot

 (Four-Maiden Mountains)

Admission to the scenic spot is adjusted to 08:00-15:00 during the off season, starting on October 8, 2024.

Duration: December 1, 2024—April 14, 2025

Tickets: RMB240/person (admission and two-way buses included)

Ticketing service at tourist center: 08:20-15:50

Operation of sightseeing buses: 08:30-16:00, from tourist center to Zhaguanbeng; 10:00-18:00, from Zhaguanben to tourist center, 09:30-16:30, from Yading Village to Zhaguanbeng

Service of tour buses: 10:00-16:00, from Chonggu Monastery to Luorong Dairy Farm; 10:30-17:00, from Luorong Dairy Farm to Chonggu Monastery
