In 1938, Canadian doctor Norman Bethune crossed the ocean to war-torn China. He performed surgeries under gunfire, trained young doctors, and gave his life to a country that was not his homeland.
Today, Martin, a medical student from Canada, retraces Bethune’s path, exploring the profound choice that continues to inspire more than 80 years later.
