
The annual BRICS Forum on Partnership for the New Industrial Revolution kicked off last week in Xiamen. This year's forum focused on the integration of AI into manufacturing. The event's opening ceremony included the official launch of the Partner City Network for the New Industrial Revolution by 11 domestic and international cities. Network officials described its project as a city-based cooperation framework designed to upgrade traditional industries and foster new productive forces.
Participating international cities include Almaty and Astana (Kazakhstan), Belgrade (Serbia), Durban (South Africa), Kaposvar (Hungary) and Lagos (Nigeria). Participating domestic cities include Changzhou, Nanjing, Wuhan, Xiamen and Yinchuan.
