The 2025 Chengdu Winter Cultural Tourism Consumption Festival & the 26th Xiling Snow Mountain Southland Ice and Snow Festival are set to kick off on December 26. A spectacular celebration of ice and snow that blends fresh snow, traditional Chinese aesthetics, and technology is about to begin, inviting you to immerse yourself in the unique charm of a snowscape in the south.
Snow Play and Winter Views
Fairytale Snow World at 2,200 meters
Featuring nearly 20 ice-and-snow activities, including snow tubing, snowmobiling, and banana boats, the area is an ideal playground for families and snow sports enthusiasts.
Riyueping at 3,250 meters
A three-month-long snow season gifts visitors with the breathtaking vistas of snow-capped peaks and seas of clouds “visible from home”. Here is a paradise for photography lovers.
The launch ceremony will be divided into two chapters, “Daytime Snow Charm” and “Nighttime Splendor”.
Daytime
Interactive China-chic NPCs, snow concerts, and Chinese-style photo spots awaiting at every turn promise to immerse visitors in the story of the snow mountain.
Nighttime
By Yingxue Lake, Chinese-style dance performances, themed shows, intangible cultural heritage “iron flower” fireworks, and Kunpeng lighting show are scheduled to take the stage, merging natural landscapes, culture, and technology into a visual spectacle.
