Five airlines will initially operate from T3: China Eastern Airlines, Shanghai Airlines, China United Airlines, Juneyao Air, and Okay Airways. Notably, China Eastern's international flights will temporarily remain in Terminal 1. On the first day, only 21 specific flights will depart from T3; all other services by these carriers will still operate from T1. From October 31, all domestic flights by the five airlines will shift to T3.

Initial Flight Schedule for October 30

Note: Specific flight times are subject to change by the airlines.
Your Guide to Getting to T3
T3 features a modern transportation centre designed for easy connections, whether you are arriving by car, train, or bus.
The most direct routes to T3 are via the Airport Second Expressway or Yingbin Avenue. The terminal has two new parking complexes, P11 and P12, offering 1,800 parking spaces available from opening day.
1. By Car, Taxi, or Ride-Hailing
Private Cars: The departure-level curb is for immediate drop-off only. If you need to park, please proceed to the P11 or P12 parking lots, located south of the terminal.
Taxis & Ride-hailing (Didi): Vacant taxis and ride-hailing vehicles are not allowed to enter the departure level. Please confirm the designated pickup zone through your app; for ride-hailing, it is on the first and second floors of the P12 parking lot.
2. By Intercity Train
A new station, Baiyun Airport East Station (T3), will open simultaneously with the terminal. Located on level B2 of the transportation center, it offers direct access to the terminal and connects Guangzhou with cities like Foshan, Dongguan, and Zhaoqing. Check the official Guangdong Intercity website or 12306 for schedules.

3. By Metro + Shuttle Bus
If you are taking the metro (Line 3 or 9), you have two options to reach T3:
Get off at Gaozeng Station and transfer to the free T3 shuttle bus. The journey is about 6 km and takes 15 minutes, with services every 15-20 minutes.
Get off at Baiyun Airport North Station (T2) and transfer to the intercity train for one stop to Baiyun Airport East Station (T3).
T3 Terminal Shuttle Bus Service from the metro station
This dedicated shuttle bus route covers a one-way distance of approximately 6 kilometers, with a travel time of about 15 minutes. Buses run every 15 to 20 minutes.

4. By Airport Bus

Starting October 30, all long-distance Airport Express bus routes will add a stop at T3. For detailed schedules, check the official "Baiyun Airport Express (白云机场空港快线)" WeChat account.

How to Get Around: Transferring Between T1, T2, and T3
If you find yourself at the wrong terminal, don't worry. Baiyun Airport provides two convenient and free ways to transfer between all three terminals.
Free Inter-Terminal Shuttle Bus: This 24/7 service runs a loop between T1, T2, and T3. Look for the shuttle stops at Gate 12 (T1 Departures), Gate 42 (T2 Departures), and Gate 62 (T3 Departures).
Shuttle Schedule:

Peak Hours (22:00 - 03:00): Every 10 minutes.

Regular Hours (08:00 - 22:00): Every 20 minutes.

Off-Peak Hours (03:00 - 08:00): Every 30 minutes.
Intercity Train: You can also use the intercity train for transfers. The stations are conveniently located at each terminal: Baiyun Airport South Station (T1), Baiyun Airport North Station (T2), and Baiyun Airport East Station (T3). Trains run approximately every 17 minutes.
Important Travel Tips
Check-in Deadline: Passengers are advised to confirm their terminal before heading to the airport, as boarding passes will clearly indicate "T1," "T2," or "T3." Check-in for domestic flights at T3 will close 40 minutes before departure—a key detail to note to avoid missed flights.
Use Navigation Apps: The airport recommends using Gaode Maps (Amap), Baidu Maps, or Tencent Maps for the most accurate real-time navigation to the new terminal.
