China and Malaysia Extend Visa Exemption

On June 20, China and Malaysia released the Joint Statement Between the People's Republic of China and Malaysia on Deepening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership towards China-Malaysia Community with a Shared Future. In the statement, China agreed to extend its visa exemption for Malaysian citizens until the end of 2025. In return, Malaysia will extend its visa exemption for Chinese citizens until the end of 2026.
