This December, Shenzhen Concert Hall will once again delight local fans with its two public benefit series. The enchanting melodies of strings, vocals, and organ music will enchant audiences on weekend afternoons.Beautiful Sunday

On Dec. 15, violinist Kuang Yingjie, violist Liu Hongyan, and cellist Cai Gongyi from the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra will present a chamber concert alongside pianist Zhang Jia, and young musicians Zhang Yihe and Yang Ziwei. The program will feature the first movement from Mendelssohn’s “Cello Sonata No. 2, Op. 58,” the first movement from Dvořák’s “Piano Quintet No. 2, Op. 81,” and Piazzolla’s beloved “The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires.” The musicians will convey the charm of this intimate music form to the audience through a meticulously selected repertoire, expressing subtle and refined ideas and showcasing a diverse range of instrumental colors.

Performers for the Dec. 21 concert.

On Dec. 21, organists Li Neng and Xie Huanhuan, and pianist Zheng Qingshu will present popular movie scores from “Star Wars,” “Beauty and the Beast,” and “Your Name,” along with classical pieces like “Libertango” and “Carnival of the Animals.”


Performers for the Dec. 28 concert. 

On Dec. 28, pianists Cui Yu and Chen Bei will accompany vocalists Shu Songjing and Liao Jie in a concert featuring artistic songs with lyrics inspired by classical Chinese poetry.Admission to these two concerts is free, but tickets are required.
