Themed Routes Open up New Travel Experience

The 12th World Games is to be held from August 7 to 17. To welcome the event, Chengdu has introduced 10 themed routes that connect major competition venues with tourist attractions.

Chengdu Natural History Museum – Dong'an Lake Sports Park – Yitaoyuan Restaurant – Mumian Hotel – Wuyue Plaza – Chengdu Shanshan Outlets Plaza

The route links sports venues, lakeside scenery, upscale restaurants and shopping plazas, offering a unique lakeside tour centered around the coming World Games.

Sancha Lake Campus of Chengdu Sport University (Orienteering Venue in Chengdu Eastern New Area) – Sancha Lake Ma'anshan Venue – Sancha Lake Taohua Island Venue – Organic Yam Resort – Chalukou Laohuoguo Hotpot Restaurant – Danjingtai Viewing Platform in Longquan Mountain Urban Forest Park

The route Connects venues of the World Games, leisure spots, food streets and the observation platform along its way, offering visitors the opportunity to appreciate the features of the venues of the Games and the charming sights in Chengdu Eastern New Area.

Linqi CBD –Gymnasium of Civil Aviation Flight University of China – Grand Mercure Hotel – Untag Garden – Sanyu Mengshi Cultural Village

The route combines World Games venues, business streets, gourmet venues and a village of distinctive cultures, offering a glimpse of the charm of the Chengdu Eastern New Area.

Chengdu Museum – Kuanzhai Alley – Eastern Suburb Memory – Qinglong Lake Wetland Park – Situo’er Hotpot Restaurant – Floral Tourism Area at Sansheng Village – Jiang’s Art Garden – Hilton Chengdu Longquanyi Hotel

The route connects the World Games venues, creative industry parks, flower appreciation sites, restaurants and hotels for people to experience the charm of the city and the dynamic spirit of the Games.

With historical sites, cute pandas, the World Games venues, flower appreciation spots, restaurants and sports centers along its way, the route offers visitors the fun of sports charm and leisurely travel.

A4 Art Museum – Xinglong Lake – Tianfu Park – Luxelakes Water City – Chengdu Haichang Ocean Park – Ji Hotel (Tianfu Western China International Expo City) – Leaf Kitchen

The route features the World Games venues, ecological parks, the waterside community, the ocean park, hotels and restaurants, for visitors to enjoy the charm of the Games and the waterside scenery.

Chengbei Gymnasium – Wenshufun – Chengdu Art Academy – COSMO – Chengdu IFS – Fanyin Huajian Courtyard Villa

The route highlights the fashion landmarks in Chengdu, the Games venues, ancient blocks, and quiet courtyards.

Qianfeng Village – Aoshan Park – Jianyang Cultural and Sports Center – Shiqiao Ancient Town – Sanbianpo Dai-style Barbecue Restaurant – Wellstay Hotel
