Nanjing Lukou International Airport, located at Lukou Town, Jiangning District, is approximately 300 kilometers away from Shanghai. It is an important hub among Yangtze River Delta Region Airports Group.
NLIA officially commenced operation on July 1, 1997. On July 12th 2014, its second phase construction was put into operation. Strategically positioned as a major Airport in East China, an air cargo center and air express distribution center, and a regional transportation hub, Nanjing Airport has a 4F category airfield, two parallel runways, two passenger and cargo terminals and a transportation center.
