Urban construction indicators will be focused on micro rail centers; stations will be integrated into the city; the first 71 micro rail centers, including Fengtai Railway Station, Huoying Hub, and Lize Terminal, will be built. These efforts are aimed at the enhancement of the transfer efficiency at the hubs, and the creation of an energetic urban center.
In terms of ground public transportation, Beijing underlines optimizing and adjusting routes and stations along the rail. A total of 34 bus routes have been optimized. A total of 349.1 kilometers of unnecessary routes have been cut out. Four subway stations, including Raolefu, have bus stops for transfer within 50 meters. In addition, as part of the efforts to diversify services, 11 routes are now available exclusively for medical care purposes, while 21 routes are open for tourists.
