The highly-anticipated "Suzhou Eye" Ferris wheel will start trial operations on March 28. A total of 30,000 pre-sale tickets have been available for purchase.
Located on the east bank of Jinji Lake in Suzhou Industrial Park, the Ferris wheel is a key component of the Jinji Lake East Bank Landmarks Cluster. As the world's eighth Ferris wheel with rotating capsules and the largest Ferris wheel built over water in Asia, "Suzhou Eye" is 128 meters tall and has 28 passenger cabins, each capable of accommodating 25 people, with a full rotation taking about 30 minutes.
Ticket Pricing
1. Eligibility for discount tickets:
Children from 1.1 meters to 1.4 meters inclusive (must be accompanied by an adult with full civil capacity);
Full-time university students aged 22 and below;
Seniors aged 65 and above;
Disabled people with valid disability certificates.
2. Eligibility for free admission:
Children under 1.1 meters;
Persons in active service/veterans with valid identification.
Operating Hours
1. Monday: 1 p.m.-10 p.m. (if during holidays, the schedule will be applied to the next working day);
2. Tuesday-Sunday: 10 a.m.-10 p.m.;
3. First Monday of each month (monthly maintenance): 4 p.m.-10 p.m.; if during holidays, the maintenance will be carried out on the next working day;
4. Closed for the entire day when undergoing annual maintenance;
5. In the event of severe weather, operation will be subject to the on-site notice.
