A new direct flight connecting Guangzhou, capital of South China's Guangdong Province, with Haiphong, Vietnam, was launched on January 6th.
Operated by Shenzhen Airlines, the route will run three times a week. Flight ZH129 departs from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport at 3:55 p.m. (local time) and arrives in Haiphong at 5:20 p.m. (local time). The return flight, ZH130, leaves Haiphong at 6:20 p.m. and lands in Guangzhou at 9:15 p.m.
The launch of this new route is expected to strengthen economic cooperation and cultural exchanges between Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area and the northern economic center of Vietnam, fostering closer trade ties and boosting tourism.
