14th French Food Festival opens in Wujiang, Suzhou

Since the establishment of sister-city ties between Wujiang and Bourgoin-Jallieu on October 7, 1993, the two sides have deepened cooperation in education, culture, economy, and trade over the past three decades, achieving fruitful outcomes. Among these exchanges, the mutual hosting of food festivals has become a long-standing tradition.

French Food Festival

Venue: Ai Qin Hai Restaurant, Wujiang Hotel 吴江宾馆·爱琴海西餐厅

Chefs from France will collaborate with Wujiang Hotel's culinary team over four days to present a fusion of Chinese and French gourmet creations.

Here, the bygone Wujiang captured through the lens of Japanese photographer Ryoji Akiyama will engage in a dialogue across time with exquisite desserts crafted by a French culinary team and Michelin-inspired neo-Chinese pastries.

Jiangsu Football City League (JSCL) Live Broadcast & Sino-French Food Market

Time: 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., November 1

Venue: Yuehu Terrace, Suzhou Bay Cultural Center 阅湖台

The outdoor giant screen will broadcast the intense JSCL final match between Nantong and Taizhou, accompanied by a Sino-French food market. French chefs will bring authentic French snacks and desserts to the venue, offering a fusion of culinary delights amid the football frenzy.
