Long tables and benches will be set up, and waitstaff dressed in Munich's traditional costumes will serve guests with exceptional hospitality.

Attendees can enjoy unlimited pours of crisp and refreshing German beer, alongside a sumptuous array of authentic German cuisine, including crispy pork knuckles, soft pretzels, and savory pork sausages, meticulously prepared by the hotel's star chefs.

A special highlight of the 16th Guangzhou Oktoberfest will be performances by the SAKRISCH GUAT Band, flown in from Bavaria, setting the stage for a celebration like no other.

This six-piece ensemble brings years of musical expertise and a deep-rooted connection to the region's traditional folk music.
With their extensive experience in live performances and their broad repertoire, they promise to electrify the crowd with a diverse and interactive show.
Not only will they perform classic Oktoberfest tunes, but they will also delight the audience by incorporating popular Chinese songs into their set, creating a truly unique and festive atmosphere.
Their performance will embody the joy and spirit of Oktoberfest, bringing that contagious energy to every guest in Guangzhou.

The 16th Guangzhou Oktoberfest is presented by Lingnan Group and China Hotel, in partnership with the Guangdong Provincial Tourism Association, the German Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Guangzhou, and the German Chamber of Commerce in China-South & Southwest China, making for a truly authentic event.

The Origin of Oktoberfest
A traditional beer festival founded in Southern Germany, Oktoberfest has become 'the' party phenomenon on practically every continent since its inception nearly 200 years ago.
In 1810, a long-lasting wedding celebration of the Bavarian Prince Ludwig and his bride Therese took place in an enormous meadow in Munich; to mark the end of the festivities, all of Bavaria was invited to witness a majestic horse racing competition.
Modern times have brought about many changes. The horse races have since disappeared, and the farm show only occurs every few years, but the 'Spirit of Oktoberfest' is still very much alive.
