Pre-registration is now open for visitors to the 2026 Appliance and Electronics World Expo, taking place from March 12 to 14 at the Shanghai Eastern Hub International Business Cooperation Zone and from March 12 to 15 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
Leveraging the high-level opening-up framework of the IBCZ, overseas visitors who complete registration for its exhibition area and pass the review process will be able to enter the zone directly via international or regional flights arriving at Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
There will be no requirements for verification of Chinese visas or other entry permits. Only international travel documents will be checked. This approach will significantly ease the process for overseas participants attending the expo.
The IBCZ exhibition area covers approximately 30,000 square meters. It is positioned as an advanced tech zone for consumer electronics, featuring cutting-edge innovations and major global product debuts.
Confirmed exhibitors include domestic tech giant Unitree Robotics and Japanese multinational conglomerate Sony Group Corporation. Exhibits will span AI-powered smart terminals, humanoid robots, consumer drones, eVTOL aircraft, satellite internet terminals, XR devices, GPU chips, AI foundation models, and 3D printing technologies.
During the expo, the IBCZ exhibition area will provide a platform for showcasing global innovative technology, facilitating international exchanges, and enabling high-end business matching. It will connect cutting-edge tech enterprises, overseas buyers, international channel operators, and tech innovation institutions, strengthening ties between China's consumer electronics industry and global innovation resources.
