This August, Wongsa Seong Ngon Fair hosts Sipping Serendipity Cocktail Festival, a weekend bazaar where cocktails, street style and unexpected encounters naturally find each other.

The drink in your hand may become part of the outfit, bright and tropical, dark and smoky, tea-led, fizzy, bitter or a little unhinged.

Pick one or perhaps more because they match your look, your mood, your scent, or simply the version of yourself you will bring out that day.

Then let the scene take over: bartenders shaking in front of you, music spilling across the aisle, people chatting around the bar, someone stopping for a street-style portrait.

More than 24 bars from Southeast Asia and across China bring their own personalities to the bazaar.

Whisky, tea, tropical fruit, smoke, fizz, neighbourhood hangouts, music-led concepts and wonderfully eccentric ideas all find a place here.

Some booths are polished and precise.

Others are loud, whimsical and delightfully offbeat.

Then wander.

Follow the loudest booth.

Stop for a street-style shot.

Drift into a conversation about perfume, pets, strange dreams or whatever someone has decided to bring up over a drink.

Grab something from the food stalls.

Come back for another round.

Change your mind halfway.

Around the cocktails, the bazaar unfolds into Cantonese snacks, Southeast Asian bites, handmade goods, independent design and a wellbeing corner filled with scent-led products, cards, crystals, as well as hands-on experiences.

Pet-friendly and filled with independent makers, the bazaar rewards curiosity.

Somewhere between your first cocktail and your last stroll through the market, don't be surprised if you leave with something better than what you came for.
