Pearl Floyd @ The Pearl

Featuring Mark W coming all the way from Chicago, the last three times the band performed the Pink Floyd opus at The Pearl it was one for the ages; sold out and in front of a passionate, discerning audience.
The Pearl’s Red Stars Band, always up for a challenge, delivered two sets of mind-blowing sonic theatrics that brought back a lot of great memories. 
There will be early material from the 1960s and the days of Syd Barrett, when the band were exploring psychedelic rock in the London underground music scene, followed by music after the addition of David Gilmour and his signature guitar sound – as Pink Floyd began to develop epic conceptualized albums, including Dark Side of the Moon.

2024 Art for Hearts @ Shanghai Centre

The first annual Art for Hearts art show was held in 2018. That show and subsequent shows called for all types of artists to donate their artwork so it could be sold for a great cause – heart surgeries for Chinese children who were born with congenital heart disease and their families can't afford the surgery, with 62 children having received heart surgery as a result of the shows.
The 2024 Art for Hearts carries on that tradition. Over 200 works of art will be offered for sale, with 100% of the proceeds going towards providing heart surgeries.  
There will be an opening gala with art and raffle prizes on November 22, and they will continue to sell art on November 23. The show will be held in the spectacular 4th floor Shanghai Centre atrium.
There is no charge to get into the show and all are invited. Please come and change the lives of children who need heart surgery!
