Online Accommodation Registration Service for Overseas Nationals

China is receiving more foreigners as it becomes a more attractive destination, foreigners visiting the country are advised to complete registration if staying outside of hotels.

According to Article 39, Paragraph 2 of the Exit and Entry Administration Law  of the People’s Republic of China, foreigners who reside or stay in domiciles other than hotels are required to register their accommodation with the local public security bureau within 24 hours of arrival.

Foreign visitors can complete accommodation registration online via Wechat by following the public account of  (Exit & Entry Department of Sichuan Public Security Administration) and tap the “Foreign Citizen” to complete the registration. 

You can also follow the account of (Exit & Entry Department of Chengdu Public Security Administration) and tap the “Foreign Citizen” section, then select “Accommodation Registration” to submit your information.
