Jiangyin Overseas Talent Support Policy

I. Project Funding
For projects that have received national or provincial funding for the introduction of overseas technology and management talents: matching funds shall be provided at a 1:1 ratio based on the amount of funding received from the higher-level government.
For projects that have received Wuxi municipal-level talent introduction project funding: funding shall be provided at the standard of RMB 300 per expert per day, plus 50% of the expert's one-round-trip international travel expenses (economy class only), with a maximum of RMB 50,000 per project.
For projects that have received Wuxi municipal-level flexible introduction of foreign experts and overseas intelligence project funding: subsidies shall be provided at the standard of RMB 500 per working day per introduced talent, with a maximum subsidy of RMB 50,000 per project.
For scientific research projects for returned overseas Chinese students and entrepreneurs that have received funding from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security or the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security: matching funds shall be provided at a 1:2 ratio based on the amount of funding received from the higher-level government.
For projects that have received Wuxi municipal-level key innovation and entrepreneurship project funding: a subsidy of RMB 50,000 shall be provided.
For projects that have received Wuxi municipal-level outstanding innovation and entrepreneurship project funding: a subsidy of RMB 30,000 shall be provided.

II. Talent Subsidies
For high-level foreign experts of internationally recognized academic reputation and first-class standing who are invited to Jiangyin for guidance, lecturing, and training: relevant lecture fees, international travel expenses, and living allowances shall be provided, with a maximum of RMB 50,000 per person per year.
For returned overseas Chinese students and overseas talent intermediary agencies that bring high-level talent projects and are officially invited to Jiangyin for inspection and negotiation visits, having achieved certain results: relevant international travel subsidies and living allowances for overseas talents shall be provided, with a maximum of RMB 20,000 per person per year.
For overseas entrepreneurship mentors invited to Jiangyin to provide guidance on innovation and entrepreneurship: consulting fees, international travel expenses, and living allowances shall be provided, with a maximum of RMB 50,000 per person per year.

III. Talent Awards
For individual income tax paid by the primary certificate holders of the "Jiangsu Overseas High-Level Talent Residence Permit": a reward shall be provided, with a cumulative maximum of RMB 300,000 over the years.
For outstanding foreign experts who have received the "China Friendship Award": a one-time award of RMB 100,000.
For outstanding foreign experts who have received the "Jiangsu Friendship Award": a one-time award of RMB 50,000.
For outstanding foreign experts who have received the "Wuxi Friendship Award": a one-time award of RMB 30,000.
