2026 Job Fair for Foreigners in Chengdu Successfully Held

Chengdu, April 25, 2026 — 2026 Job Fair for Foreigners in Chengdu, a key event of the annual “Chengdu Talents’ Day”, was successfully held.

    

Aiming to recruit high-caliber international talents, the event attracted over 50 exhibitors, including Chengdu Borns Medical Robotics Co., Ltd., Chengdu MaesInfo Co., Ltd., Polygon CD Electronics Co., Ltd., and Glasgow College, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. These enterprises and institutions offered more than 400 high-quality positions across diverse fields such as artificial intelligence, advanced energy, electronic information, equipment manufacturing, trade and logistics, as well as culture and education, drawing nearly 400 foreign job seekers from over 70 countries and regions worldwide.

Concurrent with the job fair, a policy promotion session for foreigners in Chengdu was organized. Authoritative government representatives delivered targeted interpretations of provincial and municipal talent policies, as well as key regulations concerning foreign work permits and employment visas for international talents. The officials also introduced the Chengdu Channel, an official one-stop service platform exclusively designed for foreign talents working and residing in the city.

To enrich the on-site experience and showcase Chengdu’s cultural charm, an interactive cultural experience area was set up, featuring intangible cultural heritage activities including bamboo weaving, Song Dynasty brocade handicraft making, and gaiwan tea DIY sessions. The immersive activities enabled foreign talents to experience Chengdu’s profound cultural heritage and unique urban vitality.

    

As a flagship annual initiative for Chengdu to introduce global talents, the Job Fair for Foreigners in Chengdu has run for 11 consecutive years, serving as an efficient docking platform for employers and foreign talents. Moving forward, Chengdu will continue to optimize supporting services, attract more foreign talents to settle and develop in the city, and jointly create a promising future for inclusive innovation and growth.
