Truly a "World Heritage City", Hangzhou boasts three world cultural heritage sites: West Lake, Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal and Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu City. Liangzhu Site Park
Based on the Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu City, the park has retained the Culture’s core city site, Yaoshan relic and remains of the peripheral water conservancy system. Besides visiting the ruins, you can also experience jade crafting, interactive archaeology and farming activities.

Laohuling (Tiger Ridge) Park of the Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu City
At present, it is the only site in Liangzhu ruins that displays a section structure of the water conservancy system. Through the profile, we can see the then advanced construction of grass and mud, and explore the earliest dyke system in the world.

Liangzhu Museum
Boasting the fi nest artifacts unearthed from the Ruins of Liangzhu City, the museum has on display more than 600 pieces (groups) of precious cultural relics from the Liangzhu Culture period, including jade ornaments, stone tools, pottery and lacquered ware, which offers you a glimpse of the wisdom and craftsmanship of Liangzhu ancestors.

Hangzhou National Archives of Publications and Culture
One of the three branch archives of China National Archives of Publications and Culture, it displays various kinds of publications bearing the marks of Chinese civilization, both ancient and modern, Chinese and foreign. The architecture, designed to present "a contemporary book house with the charm of the Song garden", is nestled amid rockery and brooks, traversed by winding secluded footpaths. The huge plum green screen fan at the south gate is made up with 70,000 hand-fired celadon pieces.

Pingyao Old Street

The old street block boasts five intangible cultural heritage museums, including those featuring Liangzhu Jade Carving, Yuhang Paper Umbrella, Pingyao Pottery, local kite and lantern shades and sericulture. There are not only the exhibits of those cultural legacies, but also on-site directions from craft inheritors to help you experience the whole artistic creation of the intangible cultural heritage programs.
