
Xiamen Xiangan International Airport recently completed its first comprehensive trial as preparations continued for the new airport's opening. The four-hour exercise covered 153 scenarios and simulated 20 flights, 3,000 passenger journeys and the handling of 2,000 pieces of baggage. The exercise tested airport systems, reviewed procedures and identified areas for improvement ahead of the airport's opening.
