Recently, CCTV's "News Broadcast" reported on the exciting moments when journalists from multiple countries visited Nanjing to touch the pulse of cutting-edge industries.

From June 9th to 13th, the Information Office of The State Council held a series of theme interview activities titled "Foreign Media on China", inviting journalists from multiple countries to visit Jiangsu and other places to interview about the achievements of local innovation-driven development and promoting green development, and to witness the results and effectiveness of major economic provinces taking on leading roles.

On the first day of the event (June 9th), in the afternoon, a group of Chinese and foreign journalists visitedNanjing Biotech And Pharmaceutical Valley in Jiangbei New Area for an on-site investigation. Here, the journalists gained a deep understanding of the breakthrough progress in fields such as gene and cell therapy and high-end medical devices, and personally experienced the cutting-edge innovation pulse of China's biomedical industry

According to Zhou Jinliang, the president and chief operating officer of Zhenmai Biotech, this ultra-high-throughput gene sequencer with the world's highest daily data output per unit was developed by Nanjing Zhenmai Biotechnology Co., LTD. It can complete over 23,000 whole-genome sequencers annually, significantly reducing the cost of gene sequencing while outproducing precise sequencing results.

Established in 2011,Nanjing Biotech And Pharmaceutical Valley has now developed an industrial pattern led by the gene and cell industry, with innovative drugs and high-end medical devices working in coordination, and the three chains of inspection and testing, CXO, and pharmaceutical distribution integrated.
