Donghu Forum-Frontier Sci-Tech Forum Kicks Off in Wuhan, Experts Gather to Discuss Talent Innovation and Development

On October 14th, the opening ceremony and roundtable discussions of the "Frontier Sci-Tech Forum" under the Donghu Forum were held at the Wuhan Optics Valley Technology Convention and Exhibition Center, with a full house in attendance. With the mission of "Innovation-Driven, Talent-Empowered," the forum attracted 18 top experts from nine countries and 46 young talents from 15 countries to gather in Wuhan, injecting fresh momentum into scientific and technological innovation as well as talent cultivation in Hubei.

The event was organized by the China Association for International Exchange of Personnel and co-hosted by the Hubei Center for International Science and Technology Exchange and the Shenzhen Center for International Exchange of Personnel. It received strong support from the Department of Science and Technology of Hubei Province and the China-Europe Green Technology Industry Alliance. Participants included top domestic and international research forces and industry stakeholders from national laboratories, key universities and research institutes, and high-tech enterprises.

Two themed roundtable discussions served as the "intellectual highland" of the forum. Centering on the construction of an internationalized environment and scientific progress, as well as how young scientific talents can navigate their research paths, experts provided insights on policy support, sharing of research facilities, and the establishment of international exchange platforms. At the same time, the discussions focused on the challenges and difficulties faced by young talents, creating a platform for career development exchanges to "resolve dilemmas, connect resources, and empower growth" for young scientific and technological talents.

During the forum, in addition to roundtable discussions, various formats such as thematic meetings, networking sessions, popular science lectures, and field research will be conducted to establish a high-end platform for global scientific and technological talents to exchange and collaborate, achieving precise alignment between innovative resources and industry needs.
