Hubei unveils top 10 destinations for flower viewing and spring outings

Hubei released the top 10 destinations for flower-viewing and spring outings respectively on March 14, 2026, inviting travelers to explore the vibrant spring scenery across the province.

The announcement was made at the "Meeting Spring with Cherry Blossoms" event held at the Wuhan Flower Expo, marking the launch of the spring tourism season in the province.
The top 10 flower-viewing destinations showcase diverse blooms across the province. Wuhan's East Lake features thousands of cherry trees, while Wuhan Flower Expo presents a stunning display of 600,000 tulips. The Laojun Mountain in Xiangyang offers an 8-kilometer cherry blossom corridor, and the peach forests in Zaoyang create a sea of pink. The Gaolan Grand Canyon in Yichang is covered with cherry blossoms, while the rapeseed flowers along the Zuhe River in Yuan'an paint the landscape gold. Other highlights include the Yingtaogou in Shiyan, the rapeseed fields spanning 400,000 mu in Jingzhou, cherry blossoms in Jingmen, azaleas and wisteria in Huanggang, wild cherries amid bamboo forests in Xianning, and alpine rhododendron in Shennongjia.

The top 10 listed destinations for spring outings are Yiling District in Yichang, Wudang Mountain in Shiyan, Enshi City and Jianshi County in Enshi, Jingzhou District in Jingzhou, and Tongshan County in Xianning, offering access to famous attractions like the Three Gorges Tribe, Enshi Grand Canyon, and Jingzhou Ancient City. Other five destinations cover Huangpi, Caidian and Jiangxia districts in Wuhan, Zhuxi County in Shiyan, Zhongxiang City in Jingmen, Hong'an County in Huanggang, and Daye City and Yangxin County in Huangshi, featuring sites such as the Mulan Cultural Eco-tourism Area and Longwangya Tea Cultural Tourism Zone.
