Comprehensively Promoting Rural Revitalization

In the 26.67-hectare (400-mu) modern horticultural science and technology demonstration park located in Dongxiaozhuang Town, Zhuolu County, lush peach branches are heavy with fruit, and the fragrance of peaches fills the air. On August 20th, reporters witnessed that ripe fresh peaches have been put on the market, with workers busy picking, packing, and preparing for shipment to various regions.

It is understood that the demonstration park boasts a superior geographical location and convenient transportation. The park is equipped with a 500-ton controlled-atmosphere cold storage, a 1,200-square-meter fruit sorting workshop, 6 greenhouses, and 23.33 hectares (350-mu) of hail nets. It has also completed supporting facilities for power supply and agricultural machinery, and installed automatic real-time weather monitoring stations in the fields, providing reliable data support for park management. These facilities have enabled the park to form a comprehensive modern production chain covering production, fruit sorting, preliminary processing, packaging, and cold storage, with significantly improved technological content. Currently, the park cultivates 6 apple varieties, 2 pear varieties, and 12 peach varieties, all of which are adapted to Zhuolu's climatic conditions, with promising market prospects and high economic benefits. This has laid a solid foundation for the adjustment of Zhuolu's fruit tree structure and the upgrading of the fruit industry.

In recent years, this horticultural science and technology demonstration park has strived to build a distribution center for fruit sales in Zhuolu and surrounding areas, continuously enhancing its radiating and driving capacity, and setting a good example for the county's horticultural production.
