Chengdu

Jinsha Cultural and Creative Chunxi Store recently began trial operations on Chunxi Road, bringing the heritage of the ancient Shu civilization into Chengdu’s trendy urban landmark. The store offers residents and tourists a fresh destination to experience Jinsha culture of the ancient Shu.

Jinsha Cultural and Creative Chunxi Store is located at the entrance of Chunxi Road North Section, in close proximity to the iconic “Chunxi Road” sign. In front of the store, a Jinsha gold mask looks up at the sky through a pair of binoculars, and Ururu, the Jinsha mascot based on a bronze figure, forms a delightful contrast with the figures of “Six Treasures of Chunxi” IP. These lovely, creative artifact-inspired sculptures have attracted passers-by to stop and take photos.

Inside the store, visitors will find over 300 distinctive cultural and creative products, including mask-shaped cups, ornaments inspired by frog-shaped gold foils, and music boxes featuring elements from Jinsha artifacts. While shopping and relaxing, residents and tourists can immerse themselves in Jinsha culture of the ancient Shu and take home a meaningful “gift” from their visit.

It is worth noting that nearly one-quarter of the products are making their debut. New offerings, such as cultural and creative coffee, ice creams, and customized transit cards, are introduced for the first time. They creatively integrate the ancient Shu civilization into contemporary urban life, offering visitors a diverse cultural experience covering reading, travel, décor, dining, and other scenarios.

Although the Jinsha Site Museum is temporarily closed for conservation and display upgrades, the presence of Jinsha culture remains accessible to the public.

Residents and visitors can still experience Jinsha culture through cultural and creative products at Jinsha Culture Experience Hall at the International Intangible Cultural Heritage Park, as well as cultural and creative zones of Sanxingdui Museum, Chengdu Museum, Chengdu Wuhou Shrine Museum, Chengdu Du Fu Thatched Cottage Museum, National Museum of China, and other museums.
